Do I need a Doctor’s referral?
No, to see an Osteopath in the UK you do not need to obtain a referral from your doctor. Should you have any concerns over whether Osteopathy is right for you, we are here to chat through any worries you may have prior to booking your initial consultation; just get in touch!
What conditions do you treat?
We treat the whole body, not just back pain contrary to popular beliefs! so if you're having an issue with a thumb, big toe, arthritic knee or headaches; an Osteopath is a registered health professional here to help.
Will I need a course of treatment?
During your initial consultation, a diagnosis and treatment plan will be discussed. Our honest answer is always that we don't know exactly how long it will take to get better, often we need 2-3 treatments to understand your unique symptoms and response to treatment. Our promise to you, is to provide ethical healthcare, so we won’t ask you to return without an understanding of why.
What types of health insurance do you accept?
Osteopathy is accepted with many healthcare insurance providers but their terms vary. We don't personally claim for you, this is something you will need to obtain instructions from your provider as to how you may be able to claim or be reimbursed. We can provide invoices emailed at the time of payment for ease.
